Is it compatible with my car?
If your car is an X-Type, S-Type or XJ (X350, 2003 to 2009) then JagBT will most probably fit straight in.
There is a unit for both factory systems. The standard audio package takes JagBT 2.0, and the Alpine premium package takes JagBT 3.0. See how to identify your speaker setup.
Can I still use my original stereo?
Yes. Push the toggle switch and you are on Bluetooth. Push it again and your original stereo is back, exactly as it was.
Nothing about the factory system is removed or disabled, so the radio and CD work as they always did.
Do the steering wheel buttons work?
Yes, on JagBT 2.0. Previous track, next track, volume up, volume down, play and pause all work through the steering wheel controls.
If they do not work straight after fitting, message us and we will send you a short video showing how to map them. It takes a couple of minutes.
Does JagBT support phone calls over Bluetooth?
Yes. JagBT 2.0 lets you make and take hands free phone calls, so you do not need to retrofit an original Bluetooth kit to use your phone legally while driving.
A microphone is included in the box, with a double sided taped mount.
How do I pair my phone?
Turn the ignition to position I and look for a new device named "Bluetooth Audio" on your phone. Connect to it, switch over to JagBT and press play.
You only pair once. It reconnects on its own from then on.
Do I need to connect the microphone during fitting?
Yes. Connect the microphone to JagBT while the stereo is still out, before anything goes back together.
The microphone comes in the box with a double sided taped mount.
How long does fitting take, and what tools do I need?
JagBT 2.0 takes about half an hour with a T30 torx screwdriver, a Philips screwdriver and a drill with a 6mm bit.
JagBT Vision needs a 10mm socket, an 8mm socket and a T25 Torx driver. The hole saw drill bit for the camera is in the box. See both fitting guides.
Will fitting damage my car?
Nothing is spliced and nothing is soldered. JagBT sits between two factory connectors and can be removed again in a few minutes, leaving the car as it was.
The one permanent change is a 6mm hole drilled in the ashtray for the toggle switch. The fitting guide shows exactly where it goes.

Does JagBT Vision work without sat nav?
No. JagBT Vision shows the camera picture on the factory satellite navigation screen, so the car needs factory sat nav.
With sat nav fitted, there is no coding and no extra control module to buy. The picture appears by itself when you select reverse, and the module draws 0.8A.
Do you sell sat nav parts?
Yes. We sell the sat nav retrofit loom for the X-Type, the S-Type from 2003 onwards and the XJ (X350), and full sat nav sets on request.

Can you ship to my country?
If your country is not on the list, you are in luck. It means we have not sold any units there yet, so you would be the first to have one.
Just message us your address and we will add your country to our shipping list.
How quickly do you despatch, and will I pay import duty?
Orders go out from England. We aim to despatch within three working days and we email you when your order is on its way.
Outside the United Kingdom, prices do not include import duty, customs charges or local sales tax. Where these apply they are set by your country and paid on arrival. Read delivery and returns.
Can I return it?
Yes. Consumers in the UK and the EU can cancel within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason. On top of that we accept unused returns within 30 days of purchase.

Why is the unit slightly scratched?
We test every device in a real car, in real driving conditions. The boxes pick up a few hairline scratches while being mounted and dismounted, and we apologise for that.
We decided not to spray paint a device that nobody sees apart from during fitting, rather than tear new holes in the ozone layer for the sake of it.
