JagBT 3.0 is the unit for cars equipped with the factory Alpine premium sound system. It brings Bluetooth music streaming to your Jaguar X-Type, S-Type and XJ (X350), and you can control it with your steering wheel buttons: previous track, next track, volume up, volume down, play and pause.

It also lets you make hands free phone calls, so you do not need to retrofit an original Bluetooth kit to take a call legally in the car. A microphone is included in the box with a double sided taped mount.

This is the Alpine unit, not the standard one

JagBT 3.0 only works in cars fitted with the Alpine premium speaker setup. If your car has the standard audio package you need JagBT 2.0 instead. [Check which one you have](compatibility.html#speakers), it takes about a minute.
