Jaguar X-Type Bluetooth and hands free
JagBT 2.0 adds Bluetooth music streaming and hands free calling to the Jaguar X-Type, through the speakers already in the car. Fitted in about half an hour, and fully reversible.
Wireless music in a X-Type that never had it
Your Jaguar X-Type was built before Bluetooth reached the dashboard. JagBT is an external amplifier and audio grade switchbox that sits inline between the factory loom and the head unit, and plays your phone through the original speakers.
The X-Type came as a saloon and an estate, and both take JagBT in the same way. The unit sits in the gap behind the head unit, so the cabin looks untouched once the trim goes back on.
Your steering wheel buttons keep working for track and volume, and you can take a call hands free with the microphone supplied in the box. Flick the toggle switch and the original stereo comes straight back.

JagBT 2.0 is for the standard audio package. Cars equipped with the factory Alpine premium system take JagBT 3.0 instead. Please run the four checks before ordering, because the wrong unit will not work in your car.
