This notice explains what we do with your personal information when you visit this site, order from us or write to us. We are the data controller.
Who we are

What we collect, and why
- When you order: your name, delivery and billing address, email address, phone number, the items ordered and the order value. The phone number is for the courier if they need to reach you about delivery. We need this to make the contract with you and to deliver the goods. Lawful basis: performance of a contract.
- When you pay: Stripe takes the payment on its own secure checkout page. Card numbers go directly to Stripe and are never seen or stored by us. We receive a confirmation that payment succeeded, the amount, and the last four digits of the card.
- When you ask to hear when something is back in stock: your email address and the product, kept only until we have told you. Lawful basis: consent, which you can withdraw by emailing us.
- When you write to us: your name, email address and whatever you put in the message, kept so we can answer and so we have a record of the exchange. Lawful basis: legitimate interests in answering enquiries.
- When you leave a review: the name you give us and the text you write, which we may publish on the product page. Lawful basis: consent, which you can withdraw by emailing us.
We do not ask for and do not want any special category data. We do not use your data for automated decision making or profiling, and we do not sell it.
Cookies and embedded content
This site keeps only what it needs to work. Your basket is stored in your own browser and nothing in it reaches us until you check out. The site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Stripe's checkout page is Stripe's own site and uses cookies to prevent fraud, under Stripe's privacy policy.
Pages that show a fitting video embed it from YouTube using their no-cookie domain. Nothing loads from YouTube until you play the video, and when you do, YouTube may set its own cookies and receive your IP address under Google's privacy policy. Embedded content behaves as though you had visited that site directly.
Who we share it with
- Stripe, our payment provider, to take payment, prevent fraud and handle refunds and chargebacks.
- Couriers and postal services, who receive your name, address and contact details in order to deliver.
- Our email provider, which carries order confirmations and correspondence.
- HM Revenue and Customs, and customs authorities in the destination country, where the law requires it for tax or import purposes.
We do not share your data with anyone else, and we never sell or rent it.
Sending data outside the UK
We ship to 25 countries, so delivery details necessarily reach the postal or customs service of the destination. Some of our suppliers process data outside the UK. Where that happens we rely on the safeguards permitted by UK data protection law, such as adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- Order and transaction records: six years after the end of the tax year they fall in, which is what HMRC requires.
- Email correspondence: three years, then deleted.
- Published reviews: until you ask us to remove them.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask us for a copy of your data, to have it corrected, to have it erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on consent you can withdraw it at any time.
To use any of these rights, email infojagbt.com. We will reply within one month. There is no charge.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we handle personal data we will update this page and change the date at the top.
